How do I turn one product photo into a full set of product images with AI?
Start with one sharp, evenly lit photo that shows the whole product, then make every other image from that same upload: a clean studio shot, a few lifestyle scenes and the formats your ads need. In ProduktShot you upload the photo once, pick several ready-made scenes or write your own prompt, and each scene comes back as its own image.

What size should Shopify product images be?
For square product images, Shopify says 2048 x 2048 pixels usually displays best. Its admin takes images up to 5000 x 5000 pixels (25 megapixels) and under 20 MB, and PNG is its first choice of format, then JPEG. Use one aspect ratio for every product's main image so collection pages line up.

How do I get a pure white background for product photos?
Pure white means every background pixel reads RGB 255, 255, 255, the value Amazon asks for on the main image. Light a white backdrop evenly and fix it in an edit, or remove the background and place the product on solid white. For most sellers the second route is faster and gives the same white on every product.

How many product photos should a listing have?
Enough to show the product's angles, scale, use and details once each. Amazon's advice, one main image plus at least six more and a video, is a good default anywhere. The ceilings differ: Amazon takes up to nine photos, Etsy 20, eBay 24, and Shopify 250 media items per product.

Lifestyle vs studio product photos: which do I need?
Studio photos show the product alone on white or a plain colour; Amazon requires that look for the main image. Lifestyle photos show the product in a real setting, with its scale and use, and cost more to shoot because they need a set, props or a model. Most listings need both: studio first, lifestyle after.

How much does product photography cost?
Product photographers typically charge $50 to $350 per image, or $500 to $3,000 per day, according to Shopify's January 2026 guide to product photography pricing. Models, lifestyle scenes, advanced editing and rush deadlines push the price up. An AI product photo in ProduktShot costs 3 credits per standard image.

Are AI product photos as good as a real photoshoot?
For everyday product images, such as clean listing shots, lifestyle scenes and ad formats, AI photos made from a real photo of your product do the job for a fraction of a photoshoot's cost, in minutes. A photoshoot still wins when you need a real model, a hard material like glass or polished metal, or one art-directed hero image.

What is a UGC video ad?
A UGC video ad is a short video in the style of an ordinary creator, filmed on a phone, talking to camera or using the product, that a brand pays for and runs as an ad. It blends in with the posts around it on TikTok, Reels or Facebook, but it is advertising, and ad rules apply.

How do I make a product video from a photo?
Upload one sharp product photo to an image-to-video AI tool, describe the motion you want, such as a slow turn or a push-in, and pick the length. The tool generates a short clip around the photo, with no filming. TikTok's Symphony Creative Studio does this for TikTok ads; ProduktShot makes the source photo.
