Rules for some categories
- Pre-owned items: No catalogue or stock photo as the main photo, except in Books, Movies, Music and Video Games.
- Fashion: Show the fit with a model, dress form or mannequin.
Other stated rules
- The main photo shows the whole item face-on, centred, filling the frame as much as possible.
- White backgrounds are generally best; a darker one may suit shiny or reflective items.
- For items with variants, show only the variant being sold; a bundle's main photo shows every item.
- Additional props are not recommended.
- The help pages allow 12 MB per photo; the export site says 7 MB for an upload.
