Which image format should I use for product photos?
JPG for photos you upload to marketplaces: every marketplace in our size guide that lists its formats accepts it. WebP for photos on your own shop's pages, because it makes smaller files. PNG for logos, screenshots and cut-outs that need a transparent background.

Yes. It costs no credits and needs no account.
It reads JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC (iPhone photos) and writes JPG, PNG or WebP. Choose the new format with the To chip.
Safari cannot save WebP files from a web page yet; it saves PNG instead. So the converter locks WebP there and says why, rather than hand you a PNG named .webp. Chrome, Edge and Firefox save WebP.
PNG and WebP keep it. JPG cannot store it, so transparent areas get the background colour you pick, white unless you change it.
