The TikTok Shop pages we could read do not state: recommended size, product fill and colour. We leave these out rather than guess.
Rules for some categories
- Children's swimwear and undergarments: Displayed flat, without child models or mannequins.
- Food: Shown with its food packaging.
- Fashion and sports (US quality tiers): At least one image on a real human model, not only flat lays, ghost mannequins or hangers.
Other stated rules
- The main image shows the front of the product, whole and not cut off.
- Images must be in colour; black-and-white images are not accepted.
- Placeholders and digital renderings of a product are not allowed (US).
- Outside the US, text in the first image is in the local language only.
- Minimums differ by market: 600 x 600 px in the US, 800 x 800 in the UK; the API takes 300 to 4000 px for main images.
