The size our tools make for Bol.com
1500 × 1500 px, background: white, product: as large as the margin allows. The image resizer and the AI white background tool use this preset, which follows the rules above.
The Bol.com pages we could read do not state: aspect ratio, product fill, colour and number of images. We leave these out rather than guess.
Rules for some categories
- Hardware; Vehicles and Parts: Illustrations that are not product photos are allowed.
- Board games and media carriers: May be shown in their packaging.
Other stated rules
- The main image shows the front of the item, out of its packaging, with no models and no lifestyle scene.
- White space is cropped automatically and does not count towards the pixel minimum and maximum; shoot as full-frame as possible.
- Files are at least 30 KB. JPG and PNG are the formats the upload report names.
- Since 1 July 2025 bol no longer enforces its image guidelines, except the ban on self-promotion (discount labels, company names or logos, promotional text, reviews, comparisons).
- Zoom works from 1200 x 1200 px.
