Why convert WebP to JPG?
Because not every place takes WebP. Browsers show it, but several marketplaces accept only JPG or PNG for product images (see the table), and some programs cannot open it. JPG is the most popular format for still photos.

Questions
A little, as every lossy save does: JPG drops some detail to make the file small. On photos it is hard to see. Raise the quality with the Quality chip to keep more detail.
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas get the background colour, white unless you pick another with the Background chip.
JPG cannot hold animation, so an animated WebP becomes one still picture.
